Mom,
I love you very much. You have done so many things for me that I appreciate. And I thank you for all those things. You have risen up a thankful young man. You have taught me respect, dignity, love and integrity. I miss you very much. It sucks that I made the decisions to be put in states custody. It doesn’t seem right that they have the right to take me away from you and dad. I don’t regret these decisions because I have learned some stuff that a lot of people on the streets don’t know. I wish I could come back now but it is only a matter of time. My court date is the sixth of October. I hope with my life that I can come home on that day. As of right now, home is my favorite place in the world. I didn’t realize how much home meant to me until it was taken away from me. All I can do is keep trying my best and have the behavior of a young adult. Again I love you a lot.

Sincerely,
Jaiden
