This is a really good introduction and start to your essay. You chose a great topic, especially since I have never been to Las Vegas and you immediately grabbed my attention. That was partly due to the topic and partly due to the way you started your introduction. You directly addressed your reader and then proceeded to give background information on your life, which I thought was very good. I cannot wait until you finish your paper because I not only want to know what happened to your car, but also what happened on your trip!
