Students should not have electronics in school.
One reason is there are to many distractions on a phone an I-pod or any other device you could use. Yes you can use your built in calculator on your phone for math and yes it can help you, but then again what’s so hard about walking across the classroom to use things that the school provides for you. Also answering your text messages can slow you down from getting your work done, and I know that in school having a phone in hand it becomes tempting to answer. You have the Internet on your phone when you need to fine something quick and fast, but at the same time we all know your going to start with checking your e-mails. These are my reasons to not have electronic devices while you’re in school it takes to much attention from your work and it slows you down. I look at it as; you’re in school to pay attention and learn not to give partial attention to your education and partial to your phone.

Persuasive Paragraph
I think ipods and cellphones should be allowed at school, but only as an incentive.I think if you told a teenager if they finished their work and then they could listen to Their ipod or text they would finish a lot faster. I think that during break you should always be able to listen to ipod/text it’s a good intermission and helps take your mind of things and be not as board during the next class.if kids have something to work for (i.e. ipod cellphone.) they will establish a work ethic and help them better to earn things instead of having things just handed to them. That is why I think ipods and cellphones should be allowed (conditionally)

Persuasive Paragraph
I do not think that electronics should be allowed in school. Cell phones are a distraction. They go off in the middle of class and people pay attention to the cell phone instead of listening to the teacher. Even if people just put the phone on silent still it can be a distraction, because when the light on the phone goes on people can still see it and so they stop listening and look at the phone instead of the teacher. Also they can be used for cheating. Someone can text the answers to another person, so they can pass without studying. This is why I do not believe that cell phones should be used in the classroom.
Persuasive Paragraph
Ipods should be aloud in school. Listening to music calms people down. In class when the teacher hands out an assignment, and you’re working, it’s some times easier for kids to work listening to an Ipod. Or when your at lunch it’s nice to use it. Someones’ ipod are there person property. I don’t think kids should have their things taken away ether just because it’s a electronic. Ipods are not a distraction unless used improper ways. But I feel Ipods should be aloud in school.

Research: Good Examples of the Student Creed
Have you ever thought you new what fear was? Well Lance Armstrong said, “ I thought I knew what fear was until I heard the words you have cancer”(Brady 53). He has overcome adversity and challenges, has been committed to personal growth, and has been working on being successful in his life.
He has to go though challenges every day. When he is doing marathons and when he has to fight his cancer and when he is in chemotherapy and has to hope that he can see his sons next birthday. This is not the only challenge that he had. When he was going to high school, he all most did not graduate because he was all ways doing marathons and missing class. (Brady 21).
