Narrative: Final Paper

When my son Jeremy was born. I dropped out of high school. Started
Slipping in life a lot. I kept on falling and making big mistakes. Then I got
Charged for Tylenol and cigarettes, went to coart and got sent to the Salt
Lake city, Utah. When I went there I had to fight some kid that killed my
Best friend. I didn’t get charged for it because he started it and was happy
For the thing he has done. My fact is violence is a big issue in this world
Today.

So don’t do it because you will be in the pen it ain’t worth the ones you
Love. When I was seven years old on Christmas day my Grandfather Richard
Rees. The cause was cancer. Then my Birth Mom died from a drug overdose .
So growing up I remembered what I was going through. So I started smoking
Marijuana. Then I went to school and smoked weed with three kids I knew.
In the end I got charged and got put unto probation and had to go to Valley
Mental health. It was a place that helped you maintain yourself from using.
Got terminated after being there three months. I messed up when I dropped
Out and started using again. My son was born then after that I was caught with
Tylenol and got charged for it. Went to coart, went to the detention center.
I changed because now I don’t use anymore. I controlled my thinking
Errors, also now I think before I do something stupid. Got a job at Artic
Circle. Became a responsible father for my son. Doing really good in school
And started succeeding all of my goals.

James,
I think it is amazing that you have turned your life around in such a positive way! I really enjoy reading your writing. You have an amazing way of relating to your audience. Your way of sharing your personal experiences has strong and trustworthy tone about it. You have experienced many hardships in your life, but you have recovered from them and are starting to succeed in your goals, which inspires a lot of respect. Continue to write! I love your realization that your wealth of experiences, good or bad, are all part of growing and learning as a person. Very well done!

I seems like you have been through a lot so far in your life. Good job on making things better for yourself though. Not only are you making things better for yourself but you are on the path to making things better for your son as well. Finish out school and build from your education. Keep up the good work!

James,
I am impressed with how much information you shared in your paper. Your writing struck my emotions from the very beginning, which is a great aspect to have in your writing. I was immediately drawn in and felt sad for the troubles you have gone through. Also, you began and ended your story with the same excerpt (about your son being born), which I thought was great because you were then able to fill in the details of your childhood and other facts that led up to to it. This made your story come full circle by the end.

One of the things I like the most is when a person starts becoming the person that everyone knows they can be. The worst part is that they usually can't see themselves being the way they become.
