Narrative Paper: Introduction

My grandma was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2003. She meant the world to my family and I. She was very involved with us grandkids. When my mother gave me the knowledge of my grandma’s illness my world was torn, I thought this would never happen to me. She told me in these words, honey your grandma is going to die she has pancreatic cancer.

Jaiden,

Wow. Horrible stituation, but great introduction! You instantly grabbed my attention, but made my heart ache. Cancer is a terrible thing. You convey the depth of your love for your grandmother so well, it reminded me of my own grandmother who had breast cancer. The thought of losing someone who is obviously so important to you is a hard thing to bear. Your voice really comes through in your writting. I hope you will keep writing, you have a talent for it.
